One of our main strategic partners, vital for the project's success and next stages, have not secured new funding, so unfortunately there isn't any new data to process. Whether we/they manage to secure new funds is currently ongoing. These things, as I'm sure many of you know, takes months but we are staying positive and continuing to have discussions. Our team are no longer being paid, due to lack of funds right now, so I will post any updates if and when I have them. Thanks for believing with us--we had/have high hopes for this project but like many things in life, it all comes down to cashflow to maintain momentum. Consider the project paused. Again, should circumstances change, you will be the first to know. Have you guys considered asking for funds from the volunteers? Or are we talking hundreds of thousands of ie US Dollars or more to start back up again? An example is what PrimeGrid is doing which is get enough money thru donations to keep everything running and then all/most of the people running the Project are volunteers. An example of the person to talk to at PrimeGrid woulod be: Rytis Volunteer moderator Project administrator Naturally things would slow down a bit from any optimal crunching but some is better than none IMHO. just a cruncher mikey

(At least the end of the work week) Can we expect some new work soon? We don't want tasks that will crash or give out nothing but errors, so while yes I too would love to see new tasks right now, I would RATHER wait until they are ready and tested to ensure we get tasks that are helpful to their goals.

I think the badge should represent the overall achievement rate of the project rather than the merit points. I can't draw because I have no artistic talent, but I envision surrounding a dodo with a circle, using the circle to represent the overall achievement rate, and the circle itself to have a DNA image. By the way, please also distribute the aarch64 version of WU for macOS. Sorry. I use Kagi Translate from Japanese to English I agree with the idea of badges and the dodo but don't know what you mean by the circle and the 'achievement rate'. If you mean work towards the dodo then shouldn't everyone get the same thing? I think credits are an easy way to earn badges at a project and the Project could even make a badge for every animal we work on. Ideally we could even be working on several animals at once as the Project grows.
