Thank you SO much for the enthusiasm and response to our project. We are a tiny team, with just myself as admin and your support has been incredible. Hand-on-heart, we didn't expect this much support so quickly. We originally queued up around 13,000 jobs in the initial run, all of which have been completed. We added another batch of about the same size early November 8th. Those have already been either completed or are being worked on. We need to do a bit more work on our end to create more and hope to have them ready for processing by the end of next week. Thanks again for your patience, support and helping us in this pioneering project. Jay. DODO@Home. |

Are you really going to have minimum quorum:1, on the tasks, (only a _0 task) and not a wingman that runs the same WU ( _1) to make sure that both the tasks really validate against each other OK? That's IMO not a good idea, to have only one computer crunch the WU. In that way you can not be sure that the WU/task is really crunched OK, even if it says "Completed and Validated" Edit, added: You have to trust the validator/validating process to 100%, to only run with minimum quorum:1 |

In that way you can not be sure that the WU/task is really crunched OK, even if it says "Completed and Validated"CPDN only sends out _1 and subsequent tasks if the _0 fails. It depends a lot on the type of data returned whether it can be validated without having a second task complete or not. |

Not a word from the team, for 16 days. Despite having promised new work "by the end of next week", on a post from 9 Nov 2024, 12:14:14 UTC. "Next week", should have been the week 11-17 November. And the project is still not added to the official BOINC Science Projects list. |
